MIDTOWN IMAGING OPENS TWO NEW CENTERS IN JUPITER, WELLINGTON

Comprehensive imaging services now offered at 5 Palm Beach County locations

PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL – Midtown Imaging, one of South Florida’s leading imaging centers, has announced a major expansion with the recent opening of new facilities in Jupiter and Wellington.

The announcement was made by Robert D. Burke, M.D., founder of Midtown Imaging, which now has two centers in West Palm Beach, one in Palm Beach Gardens, Wellington, and Jupiter

The 9,500 square-foot center in Wellington is located at 440 N. State Road 7 (northeast corner of Southern Boulevard and State Road 7). The Jupiter location, with 5,000 square feet, is located at 345 Jupiter Lakes Blvd, Suite 1000.

Midtown Imaging offers a full range of oncological, muscular skeletal, and neurological imaging services.

“Our goal is to provide a network of imaging centers throughout Palm Beach County that offer residents convenience, top quality care, and the finest imaging technologies available anywhere in the country,” said Burke, who founded Midtown Imaging in 1991. “We have also created comforting environments at all of our centers which are geared toward lessening the anxiety of patients who come to us for important diagnoses.”

Each of the Midtown centers features warm earth-tone colors and luxurious waiting rooms in addition to the most comprehensive imaging services in South Florida. Midtown Imaging is also staffed by a team of five, full-time board certified radiologists who oversee treatments and analysis of all scans and images.

“We view imaging in a different way than most centers,” added Burke. “In many cases, patients don’t know who is reading the films or are unaware of the qualifications of the physicians. We have heard of situations when films are sent out of state for readings by anonymous doctors.

“Our philosophy is that it’s important for patients to know their radiologist. We are available for consultations and meetings. After all, patients come to us with significant anxieties and it’s up to us to give them timely, accurate, and compassionate treatment.”

The Midtown Imaging centers have a multi-modality approach and offer a wide range of services, unmatched by any other in south Florida. It is the only center in the area to offer 16 PET CT scans and coronary artery scoring.

It also offers MRI’s, CT, PET, mammograms, ultra-sound, bone density scans, X-rays, fluoroscopy and full-body scans.
