A Board Certified Radiologist, Dr. Cohen brings extensive
educational and professional experience contributing to the high level
of reputable service at Midtown Imaging. A native of New York, Dr. Cohen
received his Bachelor's of Science degree with President’s Honor
Roll at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. He earned
his Doctorate of Medicine at University of Miami’s School of Medicine.
Dr. Cohen graduated with honors and was awarded membership in the Alpha
Omega Alpha and Medical Honor Society.
Dr. Cohen completed his internship and residency
at the Mt. Sinai Medical Center of Greater Miami. It was during his
internship in the Department of Internal Medicine where he gained both
the exposure and passion for Radiology. He also received training in
Radiologic Pathology at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology in Washington,
D.C. Dr. Cohen served as the Chief Resident in the Department of Radiology
at the Mount Sinai Medical Center. He continued his training with the
prestigious Dauer Fellowship at the Mt. Sinai Medical Center with a
focus on CT, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine.
Dr. Cohen’s extensive educational background
and training has enabled him to achieve the recognition of an expert
in the field of diagnostic radiology. He has lectured on subjects such
as mammography, breast cancer and Ultrasonography. He served as the
Assistant Medical Director of Radiology at St. Mary’s Hospital
for many years.
Dr. Cohen resides in Delray Beach with his wife and
has six children. In his leisure time he enjoys traveling with his wife
and family. His personal interests include golf, skiing and being a
creative trip planner of family adventures. A dedicated community member,
Dr. Cohen has been involved in a number of civic projects and will be
recognized this year as an honoree of the JAFCO Organization.
